Starting his career as a management consultant and then co-founder of a customer analytics business, Jon Cornwell has always had appetite for a challenge. Thus Jon co-founded Newsflare alongside Bevan Thomas in April 2011. Throughout his career Jon has focussed on building great teams with diverse skillsets as well as using data to drive business decisions. When not in the office Jon can often be found trekking through mountains or watching the England rugby team play at Twickenham.

He loves improving his knowledge on a daily basis and is frequently seen out and about with his camera shooting the natural world around him

He co-founded Kadence, a hybrid working SaaS platform backed by Intel Capital and FirstMinute, and has chaired or advised ventures including JMAN Group, Trilogy and Moteefe through growth, investment and exit. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Brunswick Group, AMV BBDO and BT, and advised the UK Cabinet Office on the launch of gov.uk.
